Thank you Jocelyn for sharing your innermost reflection. It makes me smile knowing that I am not alone in the experiment/quest I have chosen for myself. There's something about "the fold" that is so majestic. And those words, "sometimes I am rich, sometimes I am poor" radiates a radical acceptance that we won't always feel "at the top", life goes round in circles, the best part is you living life whether you are currently rich or poor or in the middle. ♥︎ Keep writing Jocelyn, I look forward to journeying with you on this.
Dear Ingrid, hello, you! Thank you so much for taking the time to read through my piece and reflect on it. It makes me smile, reading your words, and reflecting back to you that in your company, I too feel supported and less alone - and I can't tell you how much I appreciate about that. Yesterday I spent my last 5 bucks on tofu, one apple, and some beans. Then came home and happily painted. There's something so clear and pristine and honest in that. We must persevere. Our creativity and our expression, our voice, our sensibilities and observations are needed and necessary. I believe that we will find our people and we will find our investors and we will be okay and live to paint and write another day. It might not be today that the new opportunities or money come, but when we let go, there is so much available to us just around the corner. Keep going! xx
